The Ceilidh band provides tailor made ceilidh evenings using professional musicians. The ensemble comprises of an experienced
caller, and three instrumentalists. The instruments available include an accordion, violin, guitar and bass. The caller includes
well known dances from the Scottish, English and Irish folk dancing traditions that are straightforward and fun for beginners
to dance to as well as catering for more experienced dancers. “We
would like to thank you for the excellent Ceilidh band. So many of our guests commented on how good they were and in fact
they didn’t want them to stop! Our guests preferred dancing to them than the disco!” Mr and Mrs F, Wedding
at Hatfield House 2007 (The bridal couple phoned me the day after the wedding to say how
fantastic they were and how the guests didn’t want to dance to the disco but continue ceilidh dancing. In the end the
band played for an additional hour due to popular demands – and the bridal couple left for their honeymoon late!!!)
