Suggestions for music to include in a funeral or memorial service

We are always happy to suggest music and readings to include in funeral or memorial service. It is really important that you consider what the tastes were of the person that has passed away. Perhaps they had a special song, or a favourite piece of music. We have had clients that chose specific music because it reminded them of the passed person.
 
If you are having a service in a church an organ will provide you with live music: to lead the hymns. Here are some suggestions of suitable hymns.  The organ will also play during quiet moments in the service - for example when the congregation arrive before the service. Here are some examples of suitable organ music.
 
A vocal soloist - normally a soprano - could sing a suitable anthem, sacred piece or song that provides a good memory of the passed person. Here are our soprano soloists. They will also lead the congregation in any hymns. Here are some suggested songs
 
 
Sometimes a client might wish to have a solo musician such as a pianist, or a string quartet, or even a harpist, We have a wide range of solo and ensemble musicians that could be included in any service.
